Situation in the ATO area as of May 3, 2016
During twenty-four hours, the enemy observed cease-fire.
It was recorded that the adversary shelled 5 times from the small arms,
grenade launchers and 120-mm mortars. The attacks were, as follows: 3
attacks – Zaitseve, Luhanske (Sloviansk direction), 2 attacks –
Nevelske, Mariinka (Donetsk direction).
The POL supplies from the territory of Russia were noted. Four cisterns (200 tons) with diesel fuel arrived to the POL storage depot (Rovenky) of the 2nd AC (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces.
The Ukrainian side informed the representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine about the presence of tanks, the artillery systems with more than 100-mm and 122-mm MLRS "Hrad" in the areas of Pervomaisk and Ozerianivka.
It is continued the destruction of infrastructure and industrial objectives in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas. On May 3, 2016, the servicemen of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade (Alchevsk) of the Russian Armed Forces 2nd AC (Luhansk) began dismantling and transportation of the facilities from Alchevsk metallurgical plant.
Other casualties among the servicemen of the 2nd AC (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces were recorded: on May as a result of mishandling with combat explosive items, one servicemen of the 7th separate motorized rifle brigade (Debaltseve) was killed.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine established that at the position of “the chief of intelligence of the 3rd separate motorized rifle brigade (Horlivka) of the 1st AC (Donetsk, Ukraine) of the Center of the Territorial Forces (Novocherkask, Russia) of the Southern Military District (Rost0v-on-Don) of the Russian Armed Forces” is Major of the Russian Armed Forces PAVLENKO Oleksandr Serhiiovych (PAVLENKO Aleksandr Sergeyevich), in Ukraine uses the name – KALASHNIKOV. It is known that Oleksandr PAVLENKO was born on 17.08.1984 in the town of Aksai Rostov oblast. In 2007 graduated from Novosybirsk Higher Command School, the faculty of the military intelligence. He lives in Stavropol.
To perform criminal orders of the military-political leadership of
Russia in the temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine,
Major O.PAVLENKO was seconded in March 2015 from the position of the deputy commander of the detachment of the 25th separate Special Forces regiment (Stavropol) of the 49th Army (Stavropol) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.
The units of the Special Forces (total strength is about 80 servicemen) of the 25th separate Special Forces regiment (Stavropol) of the 49th Army (Stavropol) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, in April 2015, participated in hostilities in the temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine and was stationed in Amvrosiivka.
It was established other facts of the conscientious participation in combat actions in the temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine of the previously convicted and mentally unstable officers of the Russian Armed Forces who tries to stay at the military service, to earn annulment of available prior convictions as well as to receive additional finance for inflicting damage on suffers.

According to the verdict of Orenburh garrison military court from June 3, 2011, (trior V.OSADCHYI): on February 19, 2011, the commander of the battalion of the 21st separate motorized rifle brigade (military unit 12128, the settlement of Totske, Orenburh oblast) Major TITOV Roman Borysovych, being in the state of alcoholic intoxication, gave stab and slash wound of breast to Private of military conscription by tourist knife similar to hunting one. For this, he was imprisoned for up to two years and incapacitated for right to hold commanding positions. Taking into account a decision of the court of the first instance as well as a decision on appeal in favor of injured private, a total amount that Major of the Russian Armed Forces had to pay for treatment of injured and the compensation of caused moral damage amounted more than 350 thousand Russian roubles.
