Situation in the ATO area as of April 25, 2016
The enemy changes tactics of fire damage of the ATO forces.
Decreasing a number of momentary shelling, the fire is combined on the
defined areas to inflict casualties. On April 24, 2016, artillery of the
1
st AC destroyed the objectives of the ATO forces in
Sloviansk direction, deployed in tactical depth of our defence in the
area of Pravdivka (20 km from contact line). The radar reconnaissance
“Zoopark-1” was involved in order to regulate fire of howitzer “Msta-B”
and conduct reconnaissance of the result of target effects.
The adversary carries out preparation for performing of the same actions in Mariupol direction.
The Ukrainian side informed the representatives of the OSCE Special
Monitoring Mission to Ukraine about the presence of tanks and SP
artillery systems in the areas of Stakhanov, Makiivka, Donetsk, Hurty
and Ozerianivka.
It was noted the supplies of weapons and military equipments from
Russian territory. On April 23, 2016, six tanks T-72 were delivered on
the railway platforms to
Khartsyzk.
Other losses of the servicemen of the 1
st AC (Donetsk) and 2
nd AC (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces, acted as a part of the SRGs.
On April 24, 2016, three were killed and nine Russian servicemen of the 11
th separate motorized rifle regiment (Makiivka) and the 5
th separate motorized rifle brigade (Makiivka) were wounded, the 6
th separate motorized rifle regiment (Stakhanov) of the 2
nd AC and the units of former Internal Troops of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry (Yasynuvata, two wounded) of the 128
th
special motorized rifle regiment (Voronizh, Russia) attached to the
Russian National Guards established according to the Decree of the
Russian president.
On April 24, 2016, two deceased (in the area of Yakovlivka) were
delivered to the morgue of Donetsk regional clinical hospital named
after Kalinin, and two wounded Russian servicemen were delivered to the
special unit.
The moral of the servicemen of the 7
th separate motorized rifle brigade (Debaltseve) of the 2
nd
AC (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces remains at low level. That is
forced the Corps Command to hold in headquaters several officers of the
Corps’ Staff to work in commission.
During last week, it was opened 2 cases of service inspection where the central person is the commander of the 7
th separate motorized rifle brigade Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces
Oleksandr BUSHUIEV
whom the Corps Command tries to push him off the sled by means of
delivering to Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian
Federation.
It was established that there are personal conflicts of Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces
O.BUSHUIEV with the officers of the headquarters of the 7
th
separate motorized rifle brigade. On April 20, 2016, the chief of food
management of the brigade was removed from position because of low food
management for personnel. Mentally unbalanced Colonel BUSHUIEV, who as a
result of nervous break-down lost weight more than 20 kg, tries to
accuse chief of food management in it.
According to the command of the 2
nd AC, Colonel of the
Russian Armed Forces O.BUSHUIEV is inclined to adventurism and disregard
of military discipline. On April 23, 2016, the commander of the 7
th separate motorized rifle brigade O.Bushuiev gave the order to shell the ATO forces from the positions of the 3
rd motorized rifle brigade’s battalion. As a result, command-observation post of the 3
rd motorized rifle battalion of the 7
th separate motorized rifle brigade was destroyed. For this, O.BUSHUIEV received incomplete incompetency.
Other evidences of the participation of the career Russian servicemen
of the Regular Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in armed hostilities
in the East of Ukraine
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) continues to purposefully
gather facts considering the participation of the Russian Armed Forces
career servicemen who concealing their personal data and using
fictitious documents, have participated in combat actions in the
temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine for onward
transferring of the evidential base to the International Criminal Court,
according to the established procedure. The information concerning the
Russian servicemen, who are suspected in committing of war crimes in the
territory of Ukraine, is regularly transferred to the EU and NATO
member states by the Ukrainian side, inter alia, in order to enlarge the
“sanction” list.
The DIU established that Major of the Russian Armed Forces
TIKHONOV Serhii Volodymyrovych (TIKHONOV Sergej Vladimirovich) holds the position of “
the Chief of Service of the missile and artillery armament of the 7th separate motorized rifle brigade (Debaltseve) of the 2nd AC (Luhansk)
of the Center of the Territorial Forces (Novocherkassk, Russia) of the
Southern Military District (Rostov-on-Don) of the Russian Armed Forces”,
his code name STARYI. It is known that Serhii TIKHONOV was born
20.11.1980 in Tula, in 2002 he graduated from Tula Higher Artillery
Engineering School. He has got three children with the age of 12, 10 and
7 years old. His family lives: Tula, Marata Street 30, flat № 22.

S.TIKHONOV was seconded in January 2015, from the position of the
Chief
of the administration and planning section of arsenal (complex storage
of missile, ammunition and explosive material) of the 1st category (Kunhur, Perm krai).

General-Major O.ZAVIZION also served in the 41
st Army of the Russian Central Military District who in 2015
was in command of the 1st AC (Donetsk, Ukraine) of the Center of the Territorial Forces (Novocherkassk, Russia) of the Southern Military District (Rostov-on-Don).
Before general ZAVIZION was seconded to the temporarily occupied
territories of the East of Ukraine in order to perform criminal orders
of the Russian miliraty-political leader, he had held the position of
the Chief of Staff – the First Deputy Commander of the 41
st Army of the Russian Central Military District. When he came back to Russia, he was appointed as the Commander of the 41
st Army of the Russian Central Military District for the implication in war crimes of Russian authority in Ukraine.
For the present time General ZAVIZION is seconded to Syria at the
position of the deputy commander on security of border territory of the
grouping forces of the Russian Armed Forces (Khmeimim airbase, Syria).
We would remind about the unavoidability of punishment for the war
crimes that have no period of limitation, and there will be a
responsibility that is provided for the standards of international and
national law.
As to measures of combat training of the Russian Armed Forces in the
temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea
A technical obsolescence of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet;
obstructivity because of the economic difficulties; decreasing of the
rate and quality of repair of ships in view of absence of determined
list of repair parts that, first of all related to the cessation of
cooperation with Ukraine in military-technical sphere, in fact it refers
to the unpreparedness of the Fleet to perform assigned missions.
It was established that within the framework of conducting of
tactical exercises of all-arms forces of the Black Sea Fleet in the
water zone of Black Sea, it was planned to practice the issues of
amphibious landing. Because of technical problems that appeared on the
amphibious warfare ships “Azov” and Yamal, these actions weren’t managed
to conduct.

separate motorized rifle brigade (Horlovka, Ukraine) of the 1st AC
(Donetsk, Ukraine) of the Center of the Territorial Forces
(Novocherkassk, Russia) of the Southern Military District
(Rostov-on-Don) of the Russian Armed Forces”, in Ukraine uses the name
USPANOV.
It is known that Ruslan ISKUZHENOV was born 12.01.1984, in Paltsivka
Tavricheskyi rayon Omsk oblast, studied in Omsk Cadet Corps, in 2007
graduated from Novosybirsk Higher Command School.
To perform criminal orders of the Russian military-political leader
in the temporarily occupied territories on the East of Ukraine, Major
R.ISKUZHENOV was seconded according to the order of the Russian Ministry
of Defence from 22.01.2015 №0019 from the position of the commander of
the motorized rifle battalion of the
18th separate motorized rifle brigade (Kalynivska, Village Khankala,
Hroznyi, Chechnia, Russia) of the 58
th Army
(Vladikavkaz) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed
Forces. He served at the positions of the commander of motorized rifle
platoon, motorized rifle company, the Chief of Staff and the commander
of motorized rifle battalion
18th separate motorized rifle brigade.
We should focus our attention that the
18th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 58th Army of the of
the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces is a combat
formation that is regularly involved to the so-called counterterrorist
operation in Chechnia and Dagestan. The personnel counts 3990 and has
separate Special Forces battalion. The officers and personnel of this
unit has regularly participated in hostilities in the temporarily
occupied territories of the East of Ukraine.
The DIU established other career officer of the Russian Armed Forces who before he was seconded to Ukraine, also served in

KANAPLIANIK Kostiantyn Andriiovych (KANAPLIANIK Konstantin Andreevich).

K.KANAPLIANIK was
seconded according to the order of the Russian Ministry of Defence from
22.02.2015 №0049 from the position of the deputy commander on airborne
training of the separate Special Forces battalion of the
18thseparate motorized rifle brigade (Kalynivska, Village Khankala,
Hroznyi, Chechnia, Russia) of the 58
th Army (Vladikavkaz) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, and nowadays holds the position of the
commander of the separate reconnaissance battalion (Donetsk, Ukraine) of the 1st AC (Donetsk, Ukraine) of
the Center of the Territorial Forces (Novocherkassk, Russia) of the
Southern Military District (Rostov-on-Don) of the Russian Armed Forces.
Unlike most of officers of the Russian Army, Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces K.KANAPLIANIK tried to
avoid
the temporary duty to Ukraine; he also gave a legal claim. According to
the materials of session of Hroznyi District Military Court from June
24, 2015, K.KANAPLIANIK litigated a legitimacy of transferring him at
the position of the Senior officer of the 2
nd department (a department of the reserved formations of the motorized rifle forces) of the 12
th Reserve
Command (from September 2015, the Center of the Territorial Forces,
Novocherkassk) of the Southern Military District of the Russain Armed
Forces for further seconding to Ukraine.
Taking into consideration the regular publishing in world mass media
the DIU information concerning the participation of Russian career
servicemen in the armed aggression Russia in the temporarily occupied
territories of the East of Ukraine and with the purpose to decrease risk
of mass insubordination and to avoid the mission on Donbas, the Russian
military-political leadership encourages generals and officers by
different ways, including the promotion at service and appointing to a
higher military rank.
General-Major of the Russian Armed Forces
S.KUZOVLIEV who during the period of autumn 2014 – spring 2015 commanded the 2
nd AC (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces, was appointed as the Commander of the 20
th Army (Voronizh) of the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.
General-Major O.TSEKOV who during the period of autumn 2014 – spring 2015 commanded the 2
nd separate motorized rifle brigade (Luhansk) of the 2
nd AC (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces, was appointed as the commander of the 4
th tank division of the 1
st tank
army (Bakovka\Odintsovo, Moskva oblast) of the Russian Western Military
District. The rank of “General-Major” received on February 21, 2015,
for the participation in the Russian armed aggression in the temporarily
occupied territories of the East of Ukraine.
We would remind about the unavoidability of punishment for war crimes
that have no period of limitation, and there will be a responsibility
that is provided for the standards of international and national law.
