The stepping-up of warfare by the Russian Federation in Donetsk, Mariupol and Volnovakha directions leads to the casualties among the Russian servicemen of the 1st AC.
According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine data, the enemy has suffered significant losses, over a week, they are less than 10 killed and about 22 wounded.
In view of these casualties and actual absence of young men of conscription age in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, it is observed a low level of manning of several combat units of the Russian occupation troops, which is numbered about 50%.
To resolve this problem, the 1st AC command has deepened work with the heads of the “military commissariats” of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” (LPR).
On June 5, 2016, the 1st AC commander Major-General Valerii Asapov held an unscheduled meeting with the subordinate military commissioners.
One of the ways of solving the manning issue of the Russian occupation troops with speciality of “sniper” is to train and to engage women who has been undergoing a sentence in Snizhne women’s penal colony № 127 (Donetsk oblast). According to available data, the instructors of the Russian Armed Forces conducted a correspond work.
Nowadays, the Russian Federation has conducted active measures on establishment of new structures of “force agencies” of the self-proclaimed republics. Particularly, the establishment of the so-called border guard service of the “ministry of state security of LPR” continues.
It was established that the leaders and units newly created service will be located at following address: town of Luhansk, Provulok Myrnyi 21.
According to the preliminary data, a number of the employees of this structure will be accounted for about 5 thousand persons.
In addition, one of the tasks of the main service’s units will be conducting of active warfare in close proximity to demarcation line.
In summary, the situation in the temporarily occupied territories remains complicated.
Despite the declarative statements of the Russian leaders considering the conflict regulation in the East of Ukraine exceptionally by peaceful means, the enemy continues to augment offensive capability of the formations and units of the occupation troops and to violate Minsk agreements.
