Situation in the ATO area as of April 26, 2016
The enemy continued fire influence on the ATO forces units. It was
recorded that the adversary shelled 42 times (during twenty-four hours –
29) from small arms, grenade launchers, and 120-mm and 82-mm mortars,
more than a half of which in Donetsk direction. The attacks were, as
follows: 3 attacks – Stanytsia Luhanska, Shchastia (Novoaidar
direction); 1 attack – Novotoshkivske (Sieverodonetsk direction); 4
attack – Novozvanivka, Zaitseve (Sloviansk direction); 26 attacks –
Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Mariinks, Novomykhailivka (Donetsk direction); 5
attacks – Taramchuk, Novotroitske (Volnovakha direction); 3 attacks –
Vodiane, Shyrokyne (Mariupol direction).
It was confirmed the location of TOE units of the Russian Armed Forces in the following areas:
Donetsk – a unit of the
24th separate Special Forces brigade (Novosybirsk) of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces;
Novoazovsk – to company of the 45
th separate Special Forces brigade (Kubinka) of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Armed Forces;
Smile, Kirovsk, Pervomaisk –
mobile complexes of radio monitoring “Svet-KU” (its
designed for searching, detection, evaluation, direction finding
location of the radio-frequency sources and information security from
leakage through the communication channel).
It was observed other losses of the servicemen of the 1
st AC of the Russian Armed Forces (Donetsk) who acted as a part of the SRGs:
on April 25, 2016, one serviceman was killed and two servicemen were wounded of the 9
th separate assault motorized rifle Marine Corps regiment (Novoazovsk) and the 3
rd separate Special Forces battalion (Donetsk).
It was established the supplies of POL and weapons and military equipment from Russian territory to the following settlements:
Rovenki – five cisterns (200 tons) with POL;
Luhansk – railway echelon (48 platforms) with 70 fighting vehicles (IFVs, APCs, BRDM (combat reconnaissance patrol vehicle), MT-LB).
The Ukrainian side informed the representatives of the OSCE Special
Monitoring Mission to Ukraine about the presence of tanks, artillery
systems and 122-mm MLRS “Hrad” in the areas of Pervomaisk, Dokuchaievsk
and Yasne.
Other evidences of the participation of the career Russian servicemen
of the Regular Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in armed hostilities
in the East of Ukraine
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine continues to purposefully gather
facts considering the participation of the Russian Armed Forces career
servicemen who concealing their personal data and using fictitious
documents, have participated in combat actions in the temporarily
occupied territories of the East of Ukraine for onward transferring of
the evidential base to the International Criminal Court, according to
the established procedure. The Ukrainian side regularly conveys the
information on Russian servicemen suspected of committing war crimes in
the territory of Ukraine to the EU and NATO member states, also in order
to enlarge the "sanction" list.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine established that at the position of “
the commander of the air defence battalion of the 3rd separate motorized rifle brigade (Horlivka) of the 1st AC (Donetsk)
of the Center of the Territorial Forces (Novocherkassk, Russia) of the
Southern Military District (Rostov-on-Don) of the Russian Armed Forces”
is Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces
BOLYCHEV Andrii Anatoliiovych (BOLYCHEV Andrej Anatolyevich), in the temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine uses undercover name
RYBAKOV. It is known that Andrii BOLYCHEV was born on 09.02.1974 in Sukhumi (Georgia). In 1997 graduated from Air Defence
Command
School of the Russian Armed Forces in St. Petersburg, and in 2010 –
Military Academy of the Air Defence of the Russian Armed Forces in
Smolensk. He lives in Hadauta (Abkhaziia).
In January 2015, Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces BOLYCHEV Andrii Anatoliiovych was seconded from the position of
the chief of the Air Defence of the 7th military base (Hadauta, Abkhaziia) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces
to perform criminal orders of the military-political leadership of
Russia in the temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine.
A principal specialization of Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Armed
Forces A.BOLYCHEV is employment of man portable antiaircraft missile
systems “Ihla-S”, as well as air defence systems “Osa-AKM” and
“Strela-10”.
After graduating of Air Defence
Command School in St. Petersburg, he served at the following positions:
1997 – 2001 – platoon leader, commander of the battery of the 253
rd separate air defence missile-artillery division of the 138
th separate motorized rifle brigade (Kamenka, Vyborh rayon, Leninhrad oblast). 138
th
separate motorized rifle brigade was involved in the armed aggression
of Russia in Transnistria, South Ossetia, Abkhaziia, and also in
counterterrorist operations in Dagestan and Chechnia
(nowadays,
battalion tactical group of this brigade is situated in the temporarily
occupied territories of the East of Ukraine in Snizhne);
2001 – 2008 – battery commander, commander of the division of the 246th separate air defence missile-artillery division (settlement of Luostari Nyzhne, Pechenhskyi rayon) of the 200
th separate motorized rifle brigade (Pechenha, Murmansk oblast;
in 2014-2015 battalion and company tactical groups from this brigade were involved in combat actions in the territory of Ukraine);
2010 – January 2015 – commander of the air defence division, chief of the Air Defence of the 7
th military base (Hadauta, Abkhaziia) of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces (
in 2015, units of the 7th military base were in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk oblast).
It should be noted that Major of the Russian Armed Forces
HREBLIEV Anatolii Anatoliiovych, who holds the position of
HR Deputy Commander of the 3rd separate motorized rifle brigade (Horlivka, Ukraine) of the 1st AC (Donetsk, Ukraine) of the Center of the Territorial Forces of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces and uses the name of
IVANENKO in the temporarily occupied territories of the East of Ukraine, also served at the 7
th military base.
It was additionally established that during the inspection of the depots of artillery armaments of the 3
rd separate motorized rifle brigade (Horlivka) of the 1
st
AC (Donetsk), substitution of two combat man portable antiaircraft
missile systems “Ihla” for training models was disclosed. In the view of
this fact, on April 25-30, composite checkout of the missile and
artillery armament depots in the 3
rd separate motorized rifle brigade, 1
st AC, and in the 7
th separate motorized rifle brigade (Debaltsevo) of the 2
nd AC (Luhansk) are carried out.
We remind of the inevitability of punishment for war crimes that have
no time bars and the responsibility for which is provided for in the
rules of international and national criminal law.
As for the measures of combat training of the Russian Armed Forces
in the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea
In the area of
DZHANKOI airdrome,
the enemy practices the seizure of the most important military/civilian
objectives in the territory of the southern regions of Ukraine. It was
trained an air dropping from helicopters in order to seizure and hold
the objectives of imaginary enemy during
the tactical-special training for the Special Forces groups of the Russian Armed Forces
(to 30 servicemen). It was used parachute system of “wing” that allows
to land at selected point, including in the condition of limited
visibility and following to beacon guidance. The area of training is
corresponded to physico-geographical conditions of Kherson and Mykolaiv
regions.
